"Booms" is Abby's word for the fireworks:) Last night, we went to see the fireworks, and our children behaved consistently with their personalities. Jenna flipped out at first. After a while thought that they were the best thing since sliced bread (although in our day and age, I would replace the words "sliced bread" with "DVR" or "high-speed Internet" or "the Shark Steam Mop." But I digress . . .
So, Jenna flipped out at first and Abby sat and watched them in amazement, clapping at the particularly spectacular ones. The first thing Jenna said to me this morning, was, "Mommy, weren't the fireworks SO AMAZING?" And all day, Abby's been asking,"We going booms?" She wants to go to the fireworks again tonight, but it'll, of course, have to be another year before we experience that extravaganza again:)
