Sometimes I forget about the beauty that surrounds us here in the Bay Area. In a matter of hours, we can be at the ocean, in the Sierras with the snow, or in a beautiful forest with the Redwoods. Yesterday, we ventured out to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk with our good friends, the Johnstones. It has become somewhat of a tradition to take this trip with them and we look forward to it every year! Here are a few pictures of our day at the Boardwalk.

Looks like a fun day. I miss the ocean. But, hey, I can be at the lake in the snow. How about that? :)
Okay, the girls have taste. The "rainbow car" is the Dupont Chevrolet driven by Jeff Gordon. You remember NASCAR right, the number one sport in America? :)
