We've been here in San Jose for about a year now. And for that year, we've had the privilege to know the Gibsons. Mike, who was the Sr. Pastor here for 19 years (give or take), recently accepted a call to Southern California. Mt. Olive has been incredibly blessed by his love for God, the lost, and his awesome leadership skills. Christ Lutheran Church in Costa Mesa will be equally as blessed as he begins his service there in the coming month. Mike and Kathy have been mentors to us in so many ways, but especially to Nate as he evolves and grows as a leader.
So, what's the big change? We're not entirely sure. We do know that Nate is the only pastor here for a while and our lives are a lot busier! Nate is excited about the challenge and the opportunity to work with such an awesome staff. (All the program staff are females and younger than he is!)
Please pray for us in this transition and for the Gibsons as they continue to faithfully serve God in a new place.

We too are proud. You know that though. I just wish that we could transport the dream job to Texas. Okay, if I'm dreaming, then it should be transported to Kingwood. Then you could buy the house down the street. I guarantee that it is much less than $800,000.
